Cultivators

Garden cultivators are designed for light soil preparation, weeding, and garden bed preparation, while garden tillers and rotary tillers are more powerful tools built for breaking compacted ground, and turning soil to allow air, water and fertilizer to penetrate the ground resulting in a healthier garden. 

Cultivators use rotating tines to uproot weeds, break up the soil surface, improve aeration, and help mix in compost and nutrients. This improves overall soil conditions for planting and crop growth.
